People who are interested in Flight Simulations or just starting out often wonder what AIRAC is.
What Is AIRAC?
AIRACs are used for FMCs for short. SIDs STAR tracks ILS VOR DME etc. They contain a lot of information about the airport. Finally, they are updated monthly to include the above information.
When flying an aircraft with an FMC you usually use AIRACs (mostly payware aircraft). Basically this is a download that updates FMC, not something you use yourself.
